In order to support the future brand and marketing development of Notino, we are looking for its new Brand Marketing Director. The position is open to remote work between Brno and Prague, Czech Republic.
The mission
The mission of the Brand Marketing Director is to elevate the brand and to transform the customer experience into a journey with the brand combining plenty of different tools and channels and offering new inspiring possibilities.
Management
The Brand Marketing Director is responsible for the management and the development of a team of about 80 marketing professionals throughout PR, social media, events, copy writing, the creative and the graphics departments.
Key duties
The Brand Marketing Director is in charge of preparing and executing Notino’s global brand strategy to be uniquely identifiable and perceived with pre-defined attributes.
He/she creates the visual and communication style of the brand, monitors the market and trends and then implements the findings into the strategy and the communication. He/she is a brand ambassador and participates in key meetings with partners and contributes to the creation of key campaigns.
He/she is reporting to the Marketing Director of the company.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for creating Notino’s brand strategy based on the management vision.
- Responsibility for creating, updating and executing the strategy roadmap across all assigned disciplines in all 28 countries where Notino offers its products.
- Responsibility for setting and adhering to visual, creative and communication standards to ensure a consistent style (Notino tone of voice definition).
- Responsibility for growing brand awareness, positive market perception and credibility.
- Responsibility for regular market analysis, trend tracking and brand awareness and implementing these into the roadmap and brand strategy.
- Responsibility for setting up the tracking of KPIs within the assigned area and breaking them down according to specific categorizations.
- Responsibility for participating in key meetings and building relationships with current partners.
- Responsibility for defining the persona (defining the customer) taking into account country differentiators.
- Responsibility for the development of the visual style and the presentation of Notino private brand.
- Responsibility for the brand media budget.
The profile
The ideal profile for the role of Brand Marketing Director is a Czech or Slovak marketing professional with a strong international experience – having studied or worked in multiple countries in order to fit the international dimension of the role and the company’s European scope of operations.
He/she should offer:
- international marketing management experience across multiple markets and countries,
- seniority in international brand management (vision and strategy),
- a strong track record in leading sizable marketing teams (team leadership and organizational skills),
- a customer centric mindset (ability to identify trends and customer needs),
- a strong creative spirit and a stress resistant attitude,
- strategic and analytical thinking,
- a focus on innovation (ability to come up with innovative and original ideas),
- an inspirational personality with the ability to empower and motivate people and develop empathy within the team,
- the mastering of Czech and English languages.
It is expected the chosen candidate will be an international brand builder with experience across all channels (online and offline) and a strong retail orientation (Notino also operates a network of 28 stores across Europe). The role is based at the company’s head office in Brno but could be handled partially on remote
basis (3 days in Brno, 2 days in Prague for example).
