Our client is the start-up company MyHotelMatch, an innovative platform based on Artificial Intelligence that aims to revolutionize tourism by becoming the next generation of travel agencies, matching travelers and hotels, offering high-value added online hotel services with matching profiles. MyHotelMatch will simply change the way people choose hotels by providing tailored choices through matching profiles through a technology applying the successful principle of on-line dating to hotel booking.

We are seeking the future Chief Marketing Officer of this powerful disruptive innovation.

The position could be based either in Paris or in Cannes (France).


About the job

The role’s main priority is to fuel the launch and the growth of MyHotelMatch revolutionary application, create and execute a 360 global go-to-market strategy, developing innovative brand campaigns, relevant partnerships, activations and experiences, connect with B2C consumers internationally and drive user acquisition, retention and business results.


What you’ll do

Developing short and long-term channel growth expansion strategies and executive day-to-day tactics that increase traffic.
Launching and scaling app and display marketing across social networks.
Continually improving campaign performance by building and running tests, measuring results, learning on test outcomes.
Providing performance data back to the development team to optimize creativity constantly.
Developing a deep understanding of the target audience, using user insights and data to build marketing campaigns that resonate with the targeted audience.
Ensuring marketing management activities of sister companies of MyHotelMatch, namely the premium concierge group My Agency (with its brands My Concierge, My Event, My Driver, My Travel and My Property).


Education and experience requirements

Engineering education combined with marketing.
Experience in the social/dating or traveltech industry building successful marketing programs for B2C startups.
A trackrecord as a digital marketing executive with direct experience leading highly visible integrated marketing campaigns, application of research/insights, brand strategy, brand positioning, channel & comms planning and campaign measurement & reporting, ideally in the dating or the traveltech industries.
5 to 10 years work experience in growth marketing for mobile apps, including substantial experience in scaling organic mobile user growth and engagement.
Experience leveraging customer insights and analytics to continuously optimize campaigns.
Experience setting-up, managing and scaling app channels.
Experience and understanding of mobile measurement tools.
Social media strategy and execution experience across multiple platforms.
Strong budget and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English. Knowledge of French would be appreciated.
Legal eligibility to work in the European Union.

Test and learn approach to marketing: demonstrable ability to create test hypotheses, execute tests and measure test outcomes.
Creative approach to marketing and out-of-the-box thinking.
Excellent budget and project management skills, attention to details.
High motivation and drive, able to work independently with limited oversight.
Positive, self-motivated, committed, “can-do” attitude, highly results driven and flexible approach.
Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
Excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
