Human Resources Manager, Hannover (Germany)
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources strategies, practices and processes in the German organization (220 employees) of our client Thuasne, a leading medical device company in the fields of orthopaedics, medical compression, breast care, home care and sports (www.thuasne.com).
With its 2,200 employees globally Thuasne is present in 85 countries, in particular through its 15 subsidiaries in Europe, the United States and Asia.
As Human Resources Manager you will be responsible for providing sound advice to senior management on all HR related topics and you will be a key member of the senior management team. You will be contributing on all levels of HR from operations to strategy to implementation. You will report directly to the CEO of the German organization, working closely with the Group HR Director on the headquarter level.
The position is based in the greater area of Hannover.
You will develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
You will bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
You will support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
You will develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
You will nurture a positive working environment.
You will oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
You will maintain pay plan and benefits program by applying the group salary and social policy.
You will support the management on a daily basis into integrating the HR dimension in their decision-making process.
You will lead the recruitment and selection process and find the most suitable candidates for the company.
You will prepare and coordinate negotiations meeting.
You will promote internal and external communication together with the communication department.
You will ensure the follow-up of HR key performance indicators.
You offer a degree in Human Resources, business education or related field.
You are fluent in both German and English and offer excellent presentation and representation skills.
You offer a strong knowledge of German labor law, employment legislation and regulations and HR best practices plus a wide HR experience covering recruitment, training, talent management and payroll management.
You have a proven working experience as HR Leader (HR Business Partner or HR Manager/Director) in an international company.
You have a good finance and business acumen (budgeting, reporting etc …) and you offer a sound background in economics.
You master ERP systems in the HR area as well as IT collaborative working tools
You can demonstrate the experience of working in a matrix organization on the international level.
