About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Director to lead and execute the marketing strategy for Edenred Czech Republic, with a strong focus on B2B customer acquisition, sales enablement, and market positioning.

This is a commercially driven marketing leadership role, where success is measured by the ability to generate demand, support sales, and drive business growth. The role is primarily focused on go-to-market execution, lead generation, and brand positioning, rather than product development.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Marketing Director will work in close partnership with Sales and other internal functions to strengthen Edenred’s market presence and accelerate commercial performance.

The position is based in Prague and reports to the Country General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Define and implement a B2B marketing strategy fully aligned with commercial priorities and revenue growth objectives.
  • Develop targeted campaigns to drive lead generation, client acquisition, and retention.
  • Adapt Group marketing frameworks to local market needs.

Lead Generation & Sales Enablement

  • Drive marketing-generated pipeline in close collaboration with Sales and telesales teams.
  • Develop and optimize multi-channel acquisition strategies (digital, partnerships, events, direct marketing).
  • Equip Sales teams with relevant tools, content, and insights to improve conversion and client engagement.

Ownership of Revenue Impact

  • Accountability for revenue impact, with shared responsibility with Sales for revenue growth, marketing-sourced pipeline, and conversion performance.

Digital Marketing & Performance

  • Manage digital channels to increase traffic, lead generation, and conversion rates.
  • Monitor performance and continuously optimize campaigns based on ROI.
  • Leverage CRM and marketing tools to improve targeting and efficiency.

Market Insight & Coordination with Product

  • Monitor market trends, competition, and client expectations to refine marketing strategy.
  • Work in coordination with Product and Group teams to ensure alignment of offerings with market needs, without direct ownership of product development.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of marketing and communication professionals (approx. 5–6 people).
  • Foster a results-oriented and commercially focused culture, closely integrated with Sales.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage the marketing budget with a strong focus on ROI and measurable business impact.
  • Track and report on key KPIs related to lead generation, conversion, and campaign effectiveness.

Profile & Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in services, telecom, or other commercial environments.
  • Strong track record in lead generation, demand generation, and sales support.
  • Experience working in commercially driven organizations with close Sales-Marketing alignment.

Education

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.

Skills & Leadership

  • Strong commercial mindset with a focus on measurable business impact.
  • Hands-on and pragmatic approach, with the ability to execute effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to operate in a matrix and international environment.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with CRM and marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and performance tracking.

Languages (Mandatory)

  • Fluent Czech and English are required for this role.
