About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Product & Marketing Director (CMO level) with a strong background in digital payments, fintech, or platform-based ecosystems, who will drive our client’s growth strategy and accelerate innovation across its products and solutions portfolio. This executive role is responsible for defining and executing a high-impact product and go-to-market strategy, leading digital customer acquisition, and shaping the company’s market footprint in a rapidly evolving environment.
This leader will serve as a key member of the leadership team, working in close partnership with Directors of Sales, IT, PR/Communications, and Group/Regional teams, ensuring business performance, product and customer excellence, and market differentiation. The role is based in Prague and reports to the Country General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead the go-to-market & innovation strategy for the full product ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
- Drive competitive advantage by monitoring industry trends, competitive moves, customer behaviours and adjacent fintech opportunities and maintaining active external relationships.
- Represent the business in Group/Regional innovation initiatives and contribute to next-generation solutions and go-to-market models.
Team Leadership
- Lead the Product Management team and the Communication & Marketing team (total 6 members including Product Managers and Marketing specialists).
- Foster a high-performance culture built on collaboration, accountability and shared responsibility for user, client and merchant satisfaction
Product & Innovation Management
- Lead the Product Management function to build and scale digital products and services from concept to go-live, including business case development, requirements, change management, launch execution and post-launch optimization.
- Develop product development plans and support sales through continuous improvement of tools and processes.
- Regularly analyze direct and indirect competition, monitor innovation and build relationships with adjacent companies
Digital Growth, Data & Acquisition
- Oversee digital acquisition & web growth strategy to scale traffic, optimize conversion funnels and convert leads effectively across channels.
- Increase organic web traffic and develop paid lead sources, working closely with telesales.
- Play an active role in defining data structure and ensuring data quality, supporting data-driven marketing and potential data monetization.
Performance & Budget Leadership
- Manage the marketing budget with ROI-driven prioritization and efficient allocation based on business goals and growth potential.
Profile & Qualifications
Experience & Background
- 10+ years of leadership experience in digital product, marketing or growth strategy roles, ideally within fintech, payments, digital platforms or SaaS.
- Experience navigating both corporate scale and agile entrepreneurial environments.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable commercial impact and lead cross-functional teams.
Education
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital/Technology or a related field required (MBA considered an asset).
Leadership & Skills
- Strategic thinker with analytical strength, commercial mindset and hands-on execution style.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities across complex organizations.
- Ability to challenge and partner with Product, IT and Sales on strategic and technical decisions.
- Strong interest in developing a personal network in the market among peers, competitors and entrepreneurs and acting as an external ambassador for the brand.
- Values centered on loyalty, stability, trust-based leadership and long-term commitment.
Technical & Digital Skills
- Strong command of data-driven marketing, CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent), automation and performance measurement.
- Familiarity with modern product development and project management tools.
Languages
- Fluent English required.
