Our client is one of the largest hospitality operators in Croatia with multiple hotel operations on the island of Hvar making it one of the most luxurious holiday destinations in Europe.

The Mission

Our mission was to attract a senior corporate finance professional with financial restructuring experience in order to lead the turnaround of the company and execute the shareholder vision and strategy. The aim was to upgrade the company operations to the highest international standards and restore commercial performance and profitability.

The Profile

The profile would demonstrate solid experience in organizational, financial transformation and operational restructuring. He/she would have the relevant profile to develop relationships with relevant organizations and public authorities related to the hospitality industry as well as to interface with the government and the media. He/she would appoint, support and review the performance of the management board and the key managers. 

The mission was fulfilled in about five months.
