Finance Manager for Slovakia and the Czech Republic

The Client

Our client is a global leader in the medical devices industry providing innovative health products and solutions in the fields of orthopaedics, medical compression, homecare and sport.

The Mission

Our client tasked us to find a senior finance professional to lead the finance function across the Slovak and Czech subsidiaries of the company. This finance professional would bear overall responsibility on accounting, controlling and treasury and act as the company’s most senior local finance representative, reporting hierarchically to the Country General Manager as well as to the Group Chief Financial Officer.

The Profile

The right candidate needed to be a qualified accountant with recognized international finance qualifications and at least five years’ experience in an accounting/finance/controlling management role in an industrial environment – either in Slovakia or the Czech Republic, having mastered the management of industrial controlling as well as financial flows within a production environment.

The mission was fulfilled in about four months.
